THIS summer, aspiring Celts will get the chance to ‘train and play the Celtic way’ at the latest Summer Skill School and we have one place to giveaway in a special competition for young supporters!
To win, all you have to do is nominate a child, aged between 4 and 12, for the Champions’ Skill School – which takes place between July 2 and 6 at the East End Healthy Living Centre, just a stone’s throw from Paradise.
The school is run by the club’s Grassroots Football Department and gives youngsters the chance to learn the skills displayed by the first team players on the big stage at Paradise.
It covers all the areas required for a modern day footballer and allows them to learn in a safe and fun environment.
And this year, there is an added bonus for those signing up for the school, as they get to meet the manager, Neil Lennon, at a special Question and Answer session at Celtic Park!
The Champions’ Skill School costs £100 per child and every participant also gets a Celtic t-shirt, a signed picture of Neil Lennon, an opportunity to have their picture taken with the SPL trophy and get a stadium tour at Paradise.
To enter our competition and win a place – all you have to do is nominate a child and email their name and age, as well as your own name, postal address and telephone number, to: grassrootsfootball@celticfc.co.uk writing ‘Grassroots Competition’ in the subject heading.
A winner will then be selected at random, who will then be contacted by a member of our Grassroots Coaching department.
The competition closes at 4pm on Thursday, June 14 and we will also announce the winner on our official Facebook page and club Twitter account.
The Champions’ Skill School is one of a number of events being run by the club for young fans this summer, with the club also organising a goalkeepers camp, Hoopy Tots training for kids aged 3-4, a Lisbon Lions Skill School, Beram Kayal’s Midfield Masterclass, the Victor Wanyama Skill School and Gary Hooper’s Finishing School.
